Michelle Pourciau, Leader in Urban Transport and Infrastructure Growth
A seasoned transportation executive with over three decades of experience spanning both the public and private sectors, Michelle Pourciau has held senior positions at organizations such as the District of Columbia Department of Transportation, McKissack & McKissack, and Sigma Associates. Currently, Michelle Pourciau serves as president of MP Synergy, a role she has held since 2019. In this capacity, she leads programs and projects that modernize infrastructure and support the growth of cities and companies alike.
Ms. Pourciau holds a master’s degree in city and regional planning from Howard University, where she graduated cum laude. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in urban studies from the University of Michigan. Her academic background has supported her involvement in urban development projects and mobility planning across a range of settings.
Her career has included roles focused on transportation operations and policy, including overseeing post-9/11 transportation-related security efforts in Washington, D.C., and working on transit initiatives in the private sector. She has managed complex projects, worked with a variety of stakeholders, and contributed to efforts aimed at improving transportation systems and infrastructure.
